Roller in line and Rollerski rules

Entries to la Trans’roller is bound to the acceptance of the present race rules that the participants undertakes to respect.
 
 
1. ENTRIES
The roller events are open to all, rollerskating licence owner or not.
The Sunday races are part of the "Coupe de France Marathon" 2011.
 
The rollerski events are open to all skiers, owning a ski licence or a "ticket course" (delivered by the organiser).
A Rollerski challenge is organised, combining La Montée du Larmont with the 25km race. For the challenge, entries must be done on both races.
 
All participants must provide proof of medical aptitude for roller inline or rollerski on a competitive level either by a medical certificate delivered by a physician, a visa on the registration form or a copy of a valid rollerskating/ski licence. These documents must be provided before the race day.
A parental authorisation is mandatory for participants under 18.
 
Entries are individual. They can be done through the organising committee website www.transroller.com or with an official registration form (sent on request or downloaded on the website).
All incorrect or incomplete entries can be refused. 
 
Entries must be sent by post at the latest on Saturday 3rd September 2011 (post stamp) or online until Wednesday 7th September 2011, midnight. No entries will be accepted afterwards. No entries will be done on the race day.
 
Bib numbers are not transmissible. One participant may transfer his entry fees to another until Wednesday 7th September 2011. The new participant will be given a start number corresponding to his race level. An extra charge of 10 € will be imposed for any changes after the official registration deadline i-e 3rd Sept. 
 
2. ENTRY FEES
The entry fees include : the start number, the ranking with time (except for Fitness), the after race meal (except for la Montée du Larmont & Fitness), a souvenir, the medical assistance, security, clothes bag, shower after the race, food stands, transport back to the start after the race.

Participants who do not have a rollerskating licence must pay an extra charge of 5€ for insurance.
 
The difference of price with other FIC races corresponds to extra costs implied by a line track.
 
A 60€ deposit cheque will be asked when picking-up the bib for the timing chip.

A 25% discount is done on the entry fees (except TC) for participants who wish to register on the rollerski competitions on both days. The challenge is only done on Montée du Larmont + 25km race. Entries on paper form only

5. DIRECTIVE
Any participant changing starting line without authorisation from the competition jury will be disqualified.
The start number must be clearly visible all along the race. It must be pin with 4 safety pin (provided) and must not be cut or folded. Any participant with a damaged start number will suffer a penalty decided by the competition jury.
Mobile assistance is forbidden and will result in the disqualification of participants concerned. 
Style is free, the hilly track implies to be able to brake !
For Rollerski races:
                        - Rollerski wheels diameter must not exceed 100 mm.
                        - Sticks must be specific to rollerski.
During the race, broken material can be replaced on technical assistance stands. 
 
 
6. RANKING AND RESULTS
The following ranking will be done:
  • On 34km Roller starting from Pontarlier: Scratch ranking ;
  • On 17km Roller starting from Malbuisson, Scratch ranking.
  • On la Montée du Larmont, Scratch ranking
  • On the 25km Rollerski starting from Oye et Pallet, Scratch ranking.
  • On the 17km Rollerski starting from Malbuisson, Scratch ranking.
  • On the Rollerski challenge (Montée du Larmont + 25km race)
The flower ceremonies are held right after the first 3 Men and Women have finished the race
.
The official prize giving ceremonies are planned on Saturday at 4.30 pm for rollerski Montée du Larmont and on Sunday at 1.30 pm for rollerski races and 2.30 for roller races. All prizes must be taken away by 7.00 pm on Saturday and 3.30 pm on Sunday.
Participants must attend the ceremony to receive their prize.
 
7. FOOD STANDS
There are 3 food stands along the course on Sunday in Malbuisson, Le Brey and at the finish in Mouthe.
 
8. CONTROLS
Participants starting from Pontarlier who do not reach Malbuisson after one hour racing will have to quit the race and will be transported by the OC to the finish area in Mouthe.
 
9. PROTECTIONS
Wearing a helmet is mandatory to participate. On rollerski races glasses are also mandatory. Any racer without helmet and/or glasses will not be allowed to do the race. Taking off helmet and/or glasses during the race will result in disqualification. Other protections (knees, elbows, wrists) are highly recommended.
 
10. SECURITY
Security is ensured by police authorities with the help of controlers set up by the OC. A car will transport participants who quit the race to the finish area in Mouthe.
Cycling is forbidden on the track.

11. MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

Physicians are present on the race to ensure medical security and assistance of participants helped by the French Red Cross. 
They can interact with any participants and stop them if they judge that their health is in danger. For your own security do not hesitate to inform the OC about any health problem even if it doesn't represent unability to take part.
 
12. INSURANCES
The oragnisers subscribe an insurance for roller inline races and rollerski races. The insurance policy will be available at the start.
Anyway, participants must check their personal insurance cover.
 
13. CANCELLATION
In case the OC have to cancell the competition, no refund will be done. 
 
In the event a registered participant do not show up to the race, the entry fees won't be refund for any reason.
 
14. RESERVES
The organising committee reserves the right to modify the race course as well as the race rules depending on race conditions.
 
15. IMAGE RIGHTS
Through his/her registration, any participant allows the OC, its partners and the media to use images on which he/she might appear. For participants who do not wish so, please inform us by mail mentionnning your name, surname and bib number if possible.
